Panaji: September, 2015 …. The ‘Yuva Srujan Puraskar’ will be presented at a special function on September 30, 2015 at Institute of Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji at 4.30 p.m.. Noted actor Shri Manoj Joshi will be the chief guest. Shri Dayanand Mandrekar, Minister for Art and Culture will preside over and Shri Mathew Samuel, Secretary Art and Culture will be the guest of honour.
The Department of Art and Culture annually felicitates youths in the field of Music/Dance, Drama / Tiatr, Folk Art, Creative Photography/ Painting, Craft, Sculpture, Bhajan / Kirtan, Literature, Films with this award.
altogether eight Goan awardees selected will be honoured with a memento, certificate of appreciation and a cash Rs. of 20,000/- per awardee.
The recipients of the ‘Yuva Srujan Puraskar 2015-16 are Shri Dayanidhesh Kosambe in the field of Music from Salcete; Shri Alick Vaz in the field of Western Music from Quepem; Shri Appa/Ajay Buva in the field of Literature from Ponda; Shri Eknath Naik in the field of Drama from Ponda; Shri Frankie Gonsalves in the field of Tiatr from Murmogao , Shri Hitesh Pankar in the field of Fine Art from Ponda; Shri Suresh Gaude in the field of Folk Art from Ponda and Shri Vitthal Pandurang Shirodkar in the field of Bhajan from Bicholim.
