St cruz mla babush monsoratte had said that he would not allow the garbage treatment plant to come up at baigunim which was close to the heritage site mentioning that the state bjp led government was least bothered to take a note of his offer where in mr monsoratre had shown a site in taleigao area to set up a garbage treatment plant for panjim and taleigao village
It may be noted that the st cruz mla has been the first mla in the state who had willingly given a site to the state government for setting up a garbage treatment plant for panjim and taleigao area but the state government seems to have been least bothered over the offer made by mr monsoratte not showing any interest on it
Speaking to media reporters st cruz mla babush monsoratte said that he had been shouting for a long time that he was ready to give a site for setting up a garbage treatment plant in taleigao which could cater to panjim and taleigao constituency but the state government was least bothered to take a note of it …
Mr monsoratte said that he would meet the new environment minister and would pursue the issue of setting up a garbage treatment plant in taleigao once again
Meanwhile environment minister rajendra arlekar said that if such proposals were there then there was a need for the state government to think over it were in small garbage treatment plants could be st up in the state of goa
