Addressing media person’s gpcc president john Fernandes said that it was the duty of the indian coast guard to monitor Indian waters and also to prevent such disaster on state coastlines identifying the pilferage of oil spillage and check the leakages in high sea

Commenting over the issue of a golf course coming up in north goa Fernandes said that his party was against the ideas of the concerned golf company of lifting water from the water table which was deprive water for farmers from water table …

Fernandes said that his party was totally objecting towards conversion of green paddy fields in caranzalem in to huge buildings and gave a 24 hours deadline to state government asking to take action on government officers who gave permission to such illegal projects or else warned of filing criminal cases against the concerned state government department

Fernandes also stated that the construction of a new road along the Miramar donapaula road was highly objectionable as it was not fitting in to pwd manual and was done spending public-ex chequers money
