The state bjp led government would not be able to introduce the bill on medium of instruction to make it in to a law in the upcoming state assembly session as chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar has not found time to go through the respected bill due to certain issue still being deliberated by the select committee…

On Thursday a meeting was held at the chief minister residence at altinho which included chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar, environment minister alina saldanha, calangute mla Michael lobo, velim mla Benjamin silva and member of the force movement wherein it discussions on introduction of moi bill was discussed

where in after the meet sources informed goanreporter that representatives of force were not satisfied with the reply given by chief minister of asking for more time before the moi bill could be introduced in the upcoming assembly session

Speaking to goanreporter deputy chief minister who arrived late after the meet said that though he was not present for the moi meeting with chief minister he said though he has heard that the moi bill would not be brought up in the coming assembly session the same could be brought in the next assembly session as the issue had been passed in the cabinet and an assurance had been given by the state government which had to be followed

Mr dsouza said that it was due to everyone’s negligence that the bill was not been able to be introduced in the coming assembly session

Meanwhile calangute mla Michael lobo said that since the bill had been sent to select committee who had to then sent it to the chief minister and there were still some issues that the committee had thought of going on through due to which chief minister Parsekar had asked for more time
