December 23, 2017 … St Anthony High School celebrated Closing ceremony of their Silver Jubilee cum sports festival at the Basket Ball Court, Monte De Gurim, on 21st December 2017.
Chief Minister Shri. Manohar Parrikar was the Chief Guest for the function while Deputy Speaker, Shri Michael Lobo was the Guest of Honour. Minister for Housing Shri. Jayesh Salgaonkar was the special invitee.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Parrikar appreciated the hard work and efforts put in by students as well as teachers. He also stated that he will give special priority to educational needs and school infrastructure in the upcoming budget.
The function started with a March Past by students followed by a display of mesmerizing folk dances and other cultural activities. Various games were also held for the students which were thoroughly enjoyed by the participants and the parents who attended the function.
Headmaster Fr. S. Romeo Fernandes, Provincial Minister, St. Anthony Capuchin Province Br. Waldheim Rodrigues were present on the occasion.
