SECOND EDITION OF NOBEL PRIZE SERIES 2018 IN GOA

 Panaji, January 06, 2018 ….  Nobel Media AB, Sweden, Department of Biotechnology Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and Department of Science and Technology, Govt.  of  Goa will organize Nobel Prize Series 2018 programme  in Goa from February 1 to 3, 2018.

          The main function will be held at Kala Academy, Panaji on February 1, 2018. Prior to the three days event Prof. K.Vijayraghavan well known scientist and Padmashree awardee will deliver a key note address on science and education in transforming India at Multipurpose Hall,  Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto Panaji.

 The Nobel Dialogue and exhibition which will commence from Febuary 1, 2018 will remain open for students, teachers and also for public view at Darya Sangam, Kala Academy till February 28, 2018.

The first Nobel prize series programme was held in the State of Gujrat and Goa is now the second state to organize the event.

As part of the event there will be two sessions which includes nobel exhibition and nobel dialogue session wherein six nobel prize winners including from India will interact with science students, teachers, industrialist, researchers and  scientists.

Apart from Kala Academy two other sessions will be conducted one each at  Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda and Ravindra Bhavan, Margao for the students.

           The exhibition aims at promoting scientific temper among the student community and enlighten them about the significance of science and ensure its popularization and promotion.
