panaji, nov 2015 … On 11.11.2015 at about 22:30 hrs 2 minor children later ascertained as Faizan Navab Khan Age – 09 yrs S/o. Navab Khan & Junaid Jabbar Shaikh Age – 09 yrs S/o. (Late) Jabbar Shaikh both were R/o. Navin Vasath, Near Ganesh Mandir, Katraz, Pune, Maharashtra were found at the PF No 2 of Madgaon Station.
On duty RPF staff, Constable D.Manshing and Constable Shivappa Rathod detained both the children and brought them to RPF post Madgaon for further action. On enquiry by Inspector/RPF/Madgaon Shri. Ranjit, the detained children revealed that some unknown persons had picked them near to their house in Pune in a Maruti van and they have no knowledge how they came to Madgaon Railway station. One of the child gave the contact number of his father.
Later on, his father was contacted through mobile in which he stated that both the children were missing from their residence since 20:30 hrs of 10.11.2015. And in this regard they had lodged a police complaint in Bharati Vidhya Peeth Police Station, Pune, Maharashtra. Police has taken the complaint and registered the case u/s 363 of IPC (Kidnapping) vide Cr.No. 405/15. However, parents were advised to approach the RPF office, Madgaon along with the FIR copy and proper identity to collect the children. On 12.11.2015 at about 10:30 hrs, parents of both the children approached RPF office, Madgaon and both the children were handed over to them under proper acknowledgment after completion of formalities.
The timely action of RPF Madgaon enabled the kids to rejoin with their parents.
