Panaji: May 14, 2015 …. The Directorate of Education invites proposals for selection of teachers, for the state award, 2014 from meritorious teachers of the State Government. The last date for submission of proposals to the Adm.III Section of this Directorate is on or before June 26, 2015.
There are altogether eight awards to be given in the various categories:
Two awards, one in each district, in Primary, Secondary and Headmaster of High School and one award from the entire State in Higher Secondary (Grade-I) teacher and Principal of a Higher Sec. School, category will be awarded.
In service teachers who have the required academic and professional qualifications as per the cadre only are eligible. In service teachers with at least 20 years of regular teaching service as on June 30, 2014 that too in the State of Goa only are eligible. Teachers serving in particular cadre will be eligible for award in which they are presently working. Head of Institution being teachers are also eligible.
Proposals should not be sent directly to this office. The Dy. Director of Education / Dy. Education officer from respective Zones will offer their comments before onward submission to Adm.III Section of Directorate of Education.
The prescribed Performa along with the guidelines is circulated in all the Govt./Govt. Aided Schools. A copy can be obtained from the Taluka ADEI office. For more details contact Dy. Director of Education (Adm.III), Porvorim, Goa.
