Panaji:- October 4, 2017 …. Minister for Power, Shri Pandurang Madkaikar attended meeting with the representatives of the All Goa Industries Association (AGIA) North Goa at Ministerial Block Porvorim Today. The objective of the meeting was to address the problem of power fluctuation and irregular power supply which effecting day to day operation of the industry.
Secretary for Power Department, Smt. Padma Jaiswal, Chief Electrical Engineer, Shri N.N. Reddy, Vice President of AGIA, Shri Damodar Kochkar and representatives of various industrial units from North Goa were present at the meeting.
During the meeting Shri Madkaikar interacted with respective Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineers on the grievances pertaining to power problem due to which the work of industries is affected and called for their cooperation in resolving the power problem.
Shri Rajkumar Kamat, President of AGIA, welcomed the gathering and proposed vote of thanks.
