Secretary Revenue and Commissioner I, Exposition, Shri Sandip Jacques IAS reviewed the preparation with respect to the Solemn Exposition of the Relics of St. Francis Xavier at the Exposition Secretariat at Old Goa today and later conducted recce to take a first-hand report on the progress of works today.

 Shri Jacques stressed on optimum utilization of the facilities created for the pilgrims and the devotees and also appreciated the officers of PWD for accomplishing the tasks in creating the infrastructure on time.  He also complimented the officials for maintaining standard in the works executed.

He directed that day to day housekeeping and maintenance of all areas like, exposition office, Police and Fire camp, Exposition village, Basilica, and Se Cathedral complex , Pilgrim house, Basilica house, stall  areas, etc, during the  solemn exposition period.

Shri Jacques conducted the recce and visited the areas of Accommodation, Housekeeping, Parking facilities, Exposition office, Basilica and Se Cathedral complex, signage’s, Pilgrim Barracks, Pilgrim accommodation etc.

Sarpanch V. P. Old Goa Smt Medha Parvatkar, Collector North  Dr. Sneha Gitte IAS, Rev. Fr. Henry Falcao, Rev. Fr.  Patricio Fernandes, CE PWD Shri Nitin Nevrekar, Director Department of IT Shri Pravin Volvotkar, EE PWD Shri Jude Carvalho, and other senior Government officials attended the meeting.
