Speaking to media reporter’s calangute sarpanch joseph sequiera said that it was wrong on the part of chief minister laxmikant parsekar to say that the garbage treatment plant was for north goa as his predecessor manohar parrikar had promised of setting up a garbage treatment plant for calangute village an its neighboring parts

Mr sequiera also stated that he was fearing that the upcoming garbage treatment plant could be another disaster like sonsoddo in making

Mr sequiera said that he failed to understand as why there was a need to form a garbage corporation when there was a law in the panchayat or municipality act stating that the concerned panchayat or municipality had to be collect its own garbage

18/10/2015 …. Spokesperson of the state nationalist congress party has once again termed the state bjp led government of being involved in total corruption by way of trying to help tourism minister dilip paulekar in grabbing serula communidade land

It may be noted that the jmfc mapusa Court on Friday ordered the police to file First Information Report against tourism minister Dilip Parulekar and officials of Serula Communidade to probe the allegation of fraudulently taking over the Communidade land by the minister.

Trajano D’Mello, the spokesperson of Goa unit of Nationalist Congress party, had approached the Mapusa JMFC since the police had refused to file the FIR against the minister in October last year.

D’Mello, had  alleged that the minister had conspired with the officials of Serula Communidade to take over the ownership of the Communidade land, without even going for auction and had filed the case under sections 119, 120 and 418, read with 120 B of IPC

Mr dmello said that the ex chief minister manohar parrikar had tried to cover up the tourism minister in his wrong deeds

Addressing media persons after meeting the director of transport sunil masurkar president of north goa rent a cab association ramdas palkar said that necessary documents were provided to the director of transport for issuing permits to them but till date permits were not issued to them and they were also not aware as why it was delayed

Meanwhile director of transport sunil masurkar said that he had assured the delegated of processing their file with in the ambit of the law

Karnataka’s Anti-Corruption and Human Rights Organisation had announced a Dharna at Azad Maidan in Panaji on Friday morning, to press for their demand to allow diversion of Mhadei water through Kalsa-Banduri canals for which in reply members of Swabhimani Goenkar assembled at Azad Maidan, before the Kannadigas could arrive and seeing the goan crowd the protesters had to finally walk away without sitting for a Dharna.

Addressing media persons at porvroim on Wednesday agriculture minister ramesh tawadkar said that under the new concept officials of the agriculture department would meet village farmers of the state and try and find out their problems faced by the farmers both in land and available resources for cultivating vegetables round the year to the tune of 1000 tonnes of vegetables in a year

Mr tawadkar said that the idea was to reach towards the farmer who did not need to come to the zonal agriculture office for his needs and infact to help him in his villages for his resources
