Panaji: July 27, 2016 …. Press Council of India has announced National Awards for Excellence in Journalism on the Golden Jubilee Commemoration of the Press Council.
November 16, is observed as the National Press Day every year by the Press Council of India. A function will be held in Delhi coinciding with conferment of National Awards for excellence in Journalism by honoring Journalist, Photographers and Freelancers excelling in print journalism in various fields.
The entries for awards have been invited through advertisement and also posted on the website www.presscouncil.nic.in.
