Addressing media persons president of Mayem Nagrik Kruti Samiti kashinath mayekar condemned the decision of the Portuguese government for opposing the mayem property bill and asked the state government not to allow Portuguese interference in to the mayem evacuee property issue
Mayekar also stated that if Portuguese government was really accepting international laws then he questioned why mayem property was not given back to its locals when there was an end of its third generation
Meanwhile member of goa freedom fighters association nagesh karmali said that the Portuguese government had no role to interfere in to state governments decisions ..
