Margao: July 23, 2018 …. The District Level Monitoring Committee under Cable TV (Network) Act, South Goa District met today under the Chairmanship of Collector & District Magistrate, Dr. Tahir Joseph.
The Committee decided to issue Show Cause Notice to the channels operating in the South Goa District without the requisite registration from Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, New Delhi.
The Committee also deliberated on the complaint received from a subscriber against the Local Cable Operator, Verna Cable Net.
Dr. Joseph emphasised the need to create awareness among the masses across the district on the existing of the Committee to address the grievances of the subscribers of Cable network.
