Panaji: June 24, 2015 …. The Governor of Goa Smt. Mridula Sinha has said that the mission of making Swacch Goa, Swacch Bharat will not be possible without the wholehearted participation of people and involvement of every segment of society.
Smt. Sinha was speaking at a meeting held with Builders/Developers at Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula today.
The Governor during the course of discussion suggested various measures such as providing toilets to schools, or at public places, Putting up Swacch Bharat Abhiyan Hoardings, Printing and pasting of slogans Swacch Goa, Swacch Bharat on vehicles, Printing of slogans on the receipts books, Providing of toilet and water facility to the construction workers, placing of dustbins at required residential places, Avoid dumping of debris/waste on road sides or public places, Creation of awareness among residents , occupants of building o stop use of plastic, to exhibit LED display on Swacch Goa, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan in residential and commercial complexes,
She also suggested submitting report of activities undertaken by Builders/Developers to the office of Governor
