College life is very important as it is the place where formation of proper plant becomes tree, he added.
He was speaking after inaugurating two days National Level Inter Collegiate Technical and Non Technical Event INSPIRUS 2K17 on the theme “Make it Happen” organised by Computer Department, Don Bosco College Of Engineering, Fatorda today. Also the Installation ceremony of C-CODES Council for the year 2017-2018 was held on the occasion.
Speaking further, Shri Khaunte said, in this technosavy world, challenges are different and competition is more. He urged the students to compete with each others in this competitive world. Don’t leave your passion, as it takes you somewhere in your life giving you the much desired satisfaction. The youths should determine their priorities in life, he remarked.
Every person has his own limitations and innovations so try your best according to each person’s capabilities, Shri Khaunte said and added that Government is committed to provide the requisite boost in the education sector and the youths who are looking for opportunities. It is the time that the students and the people around also cooperate and collaborate with the ideas of the Government. The Governments initiative can be a success story with the able support and cooperation of the people, he said.
The IT Minister said success of any Government initiative or project is the success of the State and every individual who is citizen of the State. He urged the students to think on the challenges being faced by the State and how one can participate in it to mitigate the same. Youth is the definition of new Country, he said.
Fr. Kinley D’cruz, Director of the Institution also spoke on the occasion. Dr. Neena Panandikar, Principal welcomed the gathering. Ex Council members of C-CODE were felicitated on the occasion and the new council of C-CODE were given the oath. INSPIRUS 2K17 Souvenir was also released on the occasion.
