Panaji : November 1st, 2016 ….. Bal Bhavan Panaji has organised interstate Cultural programme on 2 and 3 November 2016 at Kala Acadamy and Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir Ponda respectively, in order to showcase multi faceted talent of children. Children of Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra will participate, in the programme along with children from Goa, informed by Chairman of Bal Bhavan, Goa smt Kunda Chodankar in a press conference held at Panaji.
Programme organised at Kala Acadamy on 2nd November will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri. Laxmikant Parsekar. Similarly Member of Parliament Shri. Narendra Sawaikar will inaugurate the programme on 3rd November at 4. Pm.
This is the first time that Bal Bhavan, has engaged children from neighbouring states in order to provide platform to those children. This exercise will help to inter -exchange the cultural heritage and folk songs, dance of Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa. Children participating in this programme are from Garware Bal Bhavan, Aurangabad, Rangaprabhath Bal Bhavan, Kerala. Banglore and Mumbai Bal Bhavan, Smt. Chodankar further told media person.
Around 1000 Children of 50 centres of Bal Bhavan Goa will also be part of this cultural programme. Both programmes are open to the public.
Besides Cultural Programme, Bal Bhavan has organised Art, Craft and clay exhibition cum sale in Bal Bhavan hall from 2 to 5 November 2016. This exhibition will be open from 10 am to 6pm. Smt. Chodankar also informed that Bal Bhavan is moving ahead to open outlet, where all the creative items made by children will be kept for sale. Outlet will be placed at Bal Bhavan Panaji.
