Indian Panorama is a very significant and important section of International Film Festival of India 2015. The Aim of the Indian Panorama organised by the Directorate is to select Contemporary Indian Feature and Non-Feature Films of Cinematic, Thematic and Aesthetic Excellence.

Indian panorama will screen 26 feature and 21 non-feature films at IFFI 2015.

Aribam Syam Sharma- Chairperson

Recipient of 15 National Film Awards, Padma Shri and Dr. V. Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award, Aribam Syam Sharma is an eminent film director, actor, and music composer from Manipur. His films, Imagi Ningthem (My Son, My Precious) received the ‘Grand Prix’ at the Festival des Trios Continents in 1982, Ishanou (The Chosen One) was the Official Selection (Un Certain Regard) for the Cannes Film Festival, 1991 and the British Film Institute declared his film Sangai – the Dancing Deer of Manipuras the Outstanding Film of the Year 1989.

Rajendra Janglay- Chairperson

Rajendra Janglay is a National Award-winning filmmaker, who has to his credit over 100 documentary and short films covering a range of issues. Some of his award-winning films include SankalpBaigaRendezvous with Time; and Raga of River Narmada. He is currently the Creative Director (Films) at Madhyam (a government of Madhya Pradesh undertaking).
