Panaji, September 18, 2016 … The Institute Menezes Braganza organized programme for women titled “ KARTRUTVAVAAN MAHILANCHA PRAVAS” , chaired by Smt. Pratima Dhond, Chairperson of Women’s Co-operative Bank, Pananji, along with other dignitaries Shri Sanjay Harmalkar , President of IMB, Shri Gorakh Mandrekar, Member Secretary, IMB and Smt. Chitra Kshirsagar – social worker on September 16, 2016 at Institute Menezes Braganza, Pananji.
With objective to recognize talented and hardworking women for their contribution and importance in society, five dynamic women were felicitated on the occasion. Those felicitated were Smt. Nayana Borkar, Ponda,Smt. Shilpa Gaonkar, Bicholim, Smt. Aditi Naik, Goa, Smt. Namita Naik , Bicholim and Anushree Satham representing fields such as tailoring embroidery, housewives earning through self-group, reiki , social worker etc.
While addressing the gathering, Smt Pratima Dhond said that every women should take care of their child in proper way and give them freedom through proper guidance. Women play very crucial role in society. Women should at least do some or other side business, which will help them to maintain their standard of living, she added.
