16/01/2016 …. Concerned with the number of goans migrating to Portugal on a Portuguese visa, state government’s alliance partner the Maharashtra gomantak party has asked the Portuguese prime minister to first apologise for the atrocities done on goans by the Portuguese during its colonial rule.

Mr dhavlikar said that it was sad to see that the state was losing the son of its soil due to goans migrating to Portuguese after obtaining Portuguese visa and there was a fear that less goans could be seen in the state assembly too in future
Commenting over the state celebrating the opinion poll day mr dhavvlikar said that the issue of opinion poll was a wrong decision taken up by the chief of Maharashtra gomantak party and then chief minister dayanand bandodkar due to which goans were now facing the brunt of it
