GOVERNOR INAUGURATES THREE DAY CONFERENCE ON INFLUENCE OF SANSKRIT LANGUAGE

Panaji: September, 2015 … The Governor of Goa Dr. Mridula Sinha has said that Sankskrit language is the mother of all other languages of India, in other words the origin of other languages is Sanskrit therefore it is our bounden duty to work to uphold the privilege  of this language.

Dr. Sinha was speaking as Chief Guest at 3day inaugural function of conference on “Influence of Sanskrit Language on other Indian Languages organized by ‘Surya Saausthan Noida Uttar Pradesh at Sanskriti Bhavan Patto Panaji today. Around 200 delegates from all over the country participated in the conference.

Further speaking Dr. Sinha said that although Sanskrit language has origin of centuries but has remained neglected for many years. The organizations like Surya Sausthan are working for the development and spread this language which is good sing and needs to be commended. She hoped that the three day conference will deliberate on various issues concerning challenges and preservation of Sanskrit language.  

Prof. Dr. Shashiprabha Kumar, Chancellor Sanchi Indian Buddhists Study University Bhopal, in her keynote address highlighted the influence of Sanskrit language on other Indian languages. She said that Sanskrit has widely structurally influenced various languages proving as the source of origin and the conservation of Sanskrit will help to empowerment of other languages.

Therefore collective and constructive efforts are required to preserve Sanskrit language. She complimented stakeholders of Surya Sausthan for their efforts to work for the cause of Sanskrit language.

Dr. Ramkripal Sinha Spouse of the Governor and scholars of Sanskrit language, Hindi language attended the function.

Prof. Shila Zunzunwala President, Surya Sausthan Noida Uttar Pradesh welcomed the gathering.

Shri Devendra Mittal, Director Surya Sausthan Noida Uttar Pradesh compered and proposed the vote of thanks.
