Proposals are invited for grant-in-aid support, from S and T based Academic institutions and Science based Organisations for celebrating National Science Day-2025 (February 28, 2025) to organise number of activities like debates, quizzes, exhibitions, lectures, radio talk shows etc., involving schools, colleges, NGO’s and general masses.
Proposals are also invited from the interested schools, S and T organisation, for celebrating National Mathematics Day 2024, (December 22) for organizing Mathematics related Quizzes, Lectures competitions etc. The genuine proposal submitted around the above activities will be selected for financial support upon approval by the concerned Ministry. Proposals are to be submitted to the Member Secretary, Goa State Council for Science and Technology, Opposite to Saligao Seminary, Saligao, Bardez –Goa. 403511 by July 12, 2024.
The Goa State Council for Science and Technology (GSCST), Saligao is the State Nodal Agency for implementing various S and T programmes of the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, to popularise Science and to strengthen scientific temper among the masses, within the Goa State. GSCST also celebrates National Science Day, (NSD) on February 28 every year to commemorate the discovery of Raman Effect by our great Scientist and Noble laureate Sir. C.V. Raman.
