United Sports Club Seraulim clinched the Vaidya Family Memorial Cup 2025, defeating Sporting Club Davorlim 2-1 in the final organized by Cuncolim Union at the Government School Ground, Cuncolim, on Sunday. Nayab Khan opened the scoring for Seraulim, but Ajay Raj quickly equalized for Davorlim in the very next minute. The decisive goal came from Shaksham Shanke, who struck a powerful shot from outside the box, beating Davorlim goalkeeper Francisco Colaco. The chief guest for the event was Shri Yuri Alemao, Hon’ble Leader of Opposition & MLA Cuncolim Constituency, who gave away the prizes in the presence of several dignitaries, including Hitesh Patil, DM, South Goa, New India Assurance Co. Ltd., Harshit Sengar, DM, North Goa, New India Assurance Co. Ltd., Fr. The tournament also recognized individual performances with Nayab Khan (Seraulim) as the first goal scorer, Ajay Raj (Davorlim) as the best striker, Alent Colaco (Davorlim) as the best midfielder, Asley Fernandes (Seraulim) as the best defender, Joywin Braganza as the best goalkeeper, Shaksham Shanke (Seraulim) as the most promising player, Carmona SC as the best-disciplined team, and Savan Lotlikar (Seraulim) as the player of the match.
