United Sports Club Seraulim secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the Vaidya Family Memorial Cup 2025, organized by Cuncolim Union, after defeating Guardian Angel SC, Curchorem, 2-1 at the Government School playground in Cuncolim on Tuesday. Keith Rodrigues opened the scoring for Seraulim in the 19th minute with an assist from Nayab, giving his team a 1-0 lead at halftime. In the second half, Guardian Angel SC applied pressure and earned a penalty, but Cyril’s attempt was saved by Seraulim goalkeeper Joywin Braganza. Elroy Costa then extended Seraulim’s lead before Regan Costa pulled one back for Guardian Angel SC. Joywin Braganza, whose crucial saves helped Seraulim secure the win, was awarded the Man of the Match by former Cuncolim Union player Shogun Aguier.
