Swayampurna E-Bazaar will be launched for upcoming the Dussehra announced Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant .This will create opportunities for the women to sell their home made products including handicraft itemS. He was speaking after inaugurating a state level work shop on enabling women led Development organized by NITI Aayog’s State Support Mission, the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) in collaboration with the Government of Goa at the CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) Auditorium, Donapaula today.
Speaking further he said Government will market these products not only in Goa but throughout India by tying up with other Common Service Centre in India
Chief Minister also congratulated Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for introducing women reservation bill which seeks to allocate 33 percent of the seats in the directly elected Lok Sabha and state legislative assemblies for women. We see women led development in every sector.
Along with PM ‘s vision of Vikasit Bharat 2047,the State Government is very much interested to worked with NITI Aayog to make vision document of Goa @2047 .With the help of NITI Aayog ,Chief Minister urged all the women to help to make the concept of Swayampurna Goa successful .
Addressing the gathering as the key speaker, Shri B.V.R Subrahmanyam, CEO, NITI Aayog said that Women led development is central for the development of our country. Prime Minister has given up a call for India to a developed Nation by 2047.We have to work very diligently to achieve this goal. State Government should also make vision document for Goa @2047 by having discussion with public, private sector and stake holders.
All the states should have a vision document. Combine vision of the state becomes the national vision, he added
Appreciating the steps of WEP, he said WEP is doing excellent work in promoting women entrepreneurs’ .He also recommended to set up Women Entrepreneurship Platform wings at local level in different states that will assist in women’s and state’s economic growth .
