Raia Sporting Club marched into the semifinals of the 14th Wilred Leisure Soccer Cup 2025 by defeating Velsao Sports and Cultural Club 6-5 via the tiebreaker in the quarterfinals held at DSYA Ground, Curtorim, on Wednesday. Velroy Borges put Raia Sporting Club ahead in the 8th minute, but Velsao SCC found the equalizer in the 34th minute through Agnelo D’Souza. With both teams locked at 1-1 at the end of regulation time, the match was decided through a tiebreaker. Raia converted their penalties through Achilles Fernandes, Roy Colaco, Sanjiro Pango, Joswel Cardozo, and Jack Medeira, while Velsao SCC netted through Aaron Fernandes, Melwyn Gama, Alerico Cardozo, and Domnic Soares. Velroy Borges of Raia Sporting Club was awarded the Man of the Match.
