Captain of Ports Department has informedthatIn view of the 1.5 kilometer open water swim from Hawaii beach, Dona Paula to Vainguinim beach, near Cidade, vessels, barges/ boats operating in the Zuari river are here by cautioned to keep a sharp lookout, go slow and if necessary stop at a safe distance from 6.30 hrs to 9.00 hrs. On October 20, 2024 so as not to cause any hindrance during the above period and strictly adhere to the on the spot instructions issued by the patrolling boat stationed at the site. Violations of the above shall be viewed seriously.
