Murida Veterans defeated Bardez Veterans 3-0 to secure a spot in the last eight of the 10th Fatorda Veterans Football Tournament, organized by Fatorda Veterans and played at Don Bosco Ground, Fatorda, on Saturday.
Menino Pango, Sebostiao Furtado, and Philip Ferrao scored a goal each for Murida Veterans. Bardez Veterans’ Bibiano had three goal-mouth attempts, but Murida goalkeeper Succour Azevedo made crucial saves to deny them.
Pascoal Soares presented the Man of the Match award to Philip Ferrao of Murida Veterans.
