Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has informed that Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Department of Food & Public Distribution, New Delhi has extended the date for Aadhar Enrolment/application for Aadhar Enrolment up to September 30, 2023.
All the beneficiaries of Ration Cards who have not yet linked their Aadhar Card with Ration Card are requested to do so, as linking of Aadhar Card with Ration Card is mandatory and same is notified by Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
It has been also informed that the Department will delete Ration Card beneficiaries whose Aadhar Card is not found linked with Ration Card from the Ration Card database after September 30, 2023.
