Goan Reporter News: CM Dr Pramod Sawant assures placement for remaining CFF by January 26, 2024

Stating that the State Government is committed to resolve issues of Freedom Fighters and ensure their well being Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that Government  has recently issued job offer letters to 71 beneficiaries under Compensatory Job Scheme and 28 beneficiaries under the scheme Jobs for the Children’s of freedom fighters and  assured that the remaining children of freedom fighters will be given job by January 26,2024 . He was speaking as the Chief Guest  after unfurling the tricolor at the 63rd Goa Liberation Day function held at Goa University Ground in Taleigao today.

Chief Minister further expressed that the Government’s dedicated endeavors are channeled towards the realisation of the “Antoday, Sarvoday, Gramoday “vision, aimed at shaping Goa into a Golden state.

Chief Minister said our focus is on uplifting the most vulnerable, promoting overall development for every individual, and fostering the progress of each village. Through these concerted efforts, we aim to paint a picture of prosperity and success that defines Goa’s future.

Encouraging active participation, the Chief Minister urged every Goan to engage in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, aimed  to connect with the people of Bharat and raise awareness about the various welfare schemes. Chief Minister highlighted the Prime Minister’s establishment of four pillars for Viksit Bharat: Narishakti, Annadata, Yuvashakti, and Middle Class & Poor. The Chief Minister emphasized that reinforcing these four pillars is key to building a prosperous Goa on the lines of Viksit Bharat.

Expressing satisfaction over the registration of approximately 20,000 individuals under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, which aims to offer comprehensive support to traditional artisans and craftspeople, Chief Minister emphasized that this effort will empower artisans to enhance their skills, with accessible training opportunities paving the way for their flourishing.

In an effort to address the concerns related to Tenant and Mundkar cases , the government is taking several steps and initiatives to expedite the resolution of cases and bring about a timely and satisfactory conclusion Chief Minister stated

Chief Minister inspected the parade and March-Past from students and Police contingents.

Chief Minister presented the President Police Medal award to Shri Jaspal Singh, IPS, Director General of Police for his distinguished Service .Shri Santosh Desai, Dy Superintendent of Police was presented with  Police Medal for his meritorious Service, Shri Nidhin Valsan IPS, SP, North was presented with Chief Minister Police Gold medal for his meritorious service beside 6 others .. Shri Sushant Sawant, IRB, received Chief Minister Bravery Award with certificate and Rs 1 Lakh.

Swayampurna Mitras were also honoured for the contribution during the Swayampurna Goa 2.0 Programme. Similarly, awards such as the State Agriculture Award, Social Workers Award, and Best Employee Award were presented in the categories of Visually Impaired, Physical Disability, and Hearing Impairment.

Minister for Revenue, Shri Atanasio Monserrate, Minister for Power, Shri Sudhin Dhavlikar, and Chief Secretary, Shri Puneet Kumar Goel were prominent among those who attended the function. The event also saw the participation of several other government officials, social workers, teachers and students.
