Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the newly constructed Paikul Bridge today, in the presence of Health Minister Shri Vishwajeet Rane and Poriem MLA Dr Deviya Rane.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant shared exciting updates on upcoming projects, stating, “The construction of the Savordem Bridge in Sattari is set to commence soon, with the foundation stone scheduled to be laid within the next two months. Additionally, he announced that GMC will soon provide Cancer OPD services in collaboration with Mumbai’s prestigious Tata Hospital. Furthermore, Government is introducing easy Mediclaim to ensure accessible healthcare for all. Moreover, Government is committed to enhancing connectivity by facilitating the necessary NOCs for the installation of towers”, he added.
With the completion of the Paikul Bridge, a long-cherished dream has finally come to reality, said Health Minister Shri Vishwajeet Rane expressing his joy. This bridge will greatly benefit the residents of Paikul and the entire Sattari region. People of Sattari taluka have always shown the unity among them and they should continue to keep that, he added.
Forest Circuit project will be initiated shortly, he informed further.
 Acknowledging the importance of continued development and connectivity, MLA Dr Deviya Rane emphasized the need for improved transportation services. She requested Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant to deploy Kadamba bus services regularly in Paikul village. Additionally, she assured the community that efforts are underway to address electricity and water-related issues in Sattari, with plans for underground cabling to be completed by the next monsoon.
The construction of the Paikul Bridge involved an investment of 19 crore and saw its completion with a record time of 9 months.
