The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will be organizing the State Youth Festival on November 13, 2024 and November 14, 2024 at Kala Academy, Panaji to provide a platform to the youth to showcase their cultural talent. The First place winners at the State Level will be deputed for the National Youth Festival 2025.
Various activities has been organised in the Festival which includes in Culture -Group Folk Dance, Group Folk Song, Solo Folk dance and Solo Folk Song, in Life Skill- Story writing, poster making, declamation, Poetry and in Yuva Kriti –Handicraft, Textile and Agro Products.
The applications are invited in prescribed proforma maximum 01 entry in Group Events and maximum 02 entries in Individual Events and for Yuva Kriti maximum 03 entries through the Educational Institutions, Youth Clubs, Musical Institutions, Registered Youth Groups and State Department from the deserving and eligible youth in the age group of 15 to 29 yrs, i.e participants should not be less than 15 yrs and not more than 29 yrs of age as on January 16, 2025 to participate in the State Youth Festival.
All the applications duly filled in enclosing the relevant age proof, Aadhar card or Birth certificate and Bank details (Bank passbook copy) should be submitted online on the link https://forms.gel/TQseNQ9zBbSmLc5PA also the criteria’s for the above mentioned events and link are uploaded on the Website of office of the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Campal, Panaji https://dsya.goa.gov.in on or before November 05, 2024.
