In a major operation at Kucheli, Khadapvada, 140 houses built on government land were demolished following an order from the Deputy Collector. A large police force, along with officials including the Mamlatdar and DySP, were present to oversee the demolition. However, only 36 houses received official notices, leading to protests from the local community, who are demanding an immediate halt to the demolitions. The matter is now being taken to the High Court, though proceedings are delayed due to the ongoing Diwali vacation. Residents are seeking urgent intervention to address their grievances.
