Panaji, September 21, 2018 … “Girls are special. Nature has made them special,” said Dr (Smt) Mridula Sinha who was the Chief Guest at the concluding function of the ‘Girls in Aviation Day’ organized by the Women in Aviation International India Chapter and Lockheed Martin India, in Panaji recently. The Governor said, “A woman is blessed in a special way to nurture the family and contribute to society and the country.”
“Today, the sky is the limit for women and women are going places,” said the Governor stressing that equal opportunities, to education, health etc, should be provided in society to all.
Women in Aviation International (WAI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of women in all aviation career fields and interests.
Present on the occasion were President, Women in Aviation International India Chapter, Smt. Radha Bhatia, Chief Executive, Lockheed Martin India, Phil Shaw and APD Goa Airport, Shri. B.C.H Negi.
