09/11/2014 ….. Health minister and mandrem mla laxmikhant Parsekar was on Saturday elected as the new leader of the bjp party legislature wing who would succeed former chief minister Manohar parrikar as the next successor
The decision of the party was announced by the central observer rajiv pratap rudy after having a one to one meet with the bjp mla’s at the party office in panjim
Though the drama has been going on for the past few days a large crowd of bjp supporters had also gathered down near the party head office in panjim waiting to know anxiously as who would be the next chief minister of the state
Speaking to media reporters mr rudy said that mr Parsekar was unanimously chosen as the next chief minister of goa while mapusa mla francis dsouza would be his deputy …
Under the leadership pf Parsekar there would be eight minister from the bjp camp, two from mgp and one would be from independent
Though most of the current ministers have been confirmed to retain their berths in the cabinet the only berth of an independent mla in the cabinet has been delayed till next week due to some technical reasons
