Panaji, September 14, 2018 … Directorate of Tribal Welfare implements various educational schemes for the Welfare of Scheduled Tribes Community in the State of Goa. The applications are to be submitted in the Tribal Welfare Department through respective educational institutions.
The Schemes and income limit to avail the benefits are as follows Schemes of Post Matric Scholarship to the Students belonging to Scheduled Tribes for Studies in India Income limit is 2.50 lakhs, Financial Assistance to ST Students under ‘Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana’
Income limit is 3.00 lakhs, Merit based Award and recognition of high performance in the Board Exams of SSC and HSSC in the State of Goa Income limit is 5.00 lakhs, Schemes of Scholarship to ST Students pursuing Home Nursing Courses Income limit is 6.00 lakhs, Scheme to provide assistance in education to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes children (Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme classes V to Xth) Income limit is 3.00 lakhs, Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST student belonging to ST studying in class IX and Xth Income limit is 2.00 lakhs and Vidya Laxmi Income limit is 3.00 lakhs.
