Addressing media persons at the site of the dharna newly elected central president of the committee of the Marathi rajya basha samiti gopal ramchandra dhavlikar said that the dharna was a part of the agitation and development programmes organized by the central committee for getting justice to the Marathi language as well as for its protection and propagation
Meanwhile pwd minister sudhin dhavlikar said that since he was also a part of the government his government would definitely think over the issue of giving equal status to Marathi language in the state
