Though mr fancisco sardinha is the present south goa member of parliament of the congress party there have been a number of mla’s and top congress leaders from the congress camp who have pressed up the candidature of the curtorim mla reginaldo lourenco for the south goa lok Sabha ticket for the upcoming lok Sabha elections and with the former Madhya Pradesh chief minister digvijay singh being name as the goa desk in charge of the state congress party sources in the congress party stated that most of the congress mla’s and party leaders are all set to try hard to impress upon mr singh to refer the name of the curtorim mla for the south goa loksabha seat to the central congress leaders…
The curtorim mla who is also the spokesperson of the state congress party has been in the limelight along with his friend and party colleague sudip tamankar in raising various issues time and again through the party lines which has impressed the congress mla’s and some of the congress leaders to choose Reginald for the south goal ok Sabha seat
Speaking to goanreporter on if given the chance of the south goa loksabha ticket to reginaldo would he accept it or not Reginald said that a new face was the need of the hour for the south goal ok Sabha seat and also mentioned that he had a problem with the south goa mp Francisco sardinha
Even present congress mla’s such as mauvin godinho, babush monsoratte, vishwajeet rane along with reginaldo lourenco himself have come in openly asking for fresh blood for the lok Sabha seat while some of the others mla’s and congress leader’s off the camera have also stated that the party central leaders have to rope in new face for the south goa seat for lok Sabha elections…
Reginaldo whose name has also been highlighting for the gpcc post said that it was up to the party to take a call on the matter and then he would decide on it
Like other congress mla’s Reginaldo also stated that there was a need of a total revamp of the state congress party
