Panaji: July 19, 2015 ….The Directorate of Art and Culture has organized competition for the school students at the taluka level at 1st instance and thereafter first 3 winner from each filed at taluka level compete at State level.
The students from Aided and Government schools from standard Vth to Xth could participate in this competition.
The competition will be held in the fields such as Tabla, Harmonium, Guitar, Keyboard, Sitar, Violin, Vocal (India Classical), Vocal (Light Music), Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Monologue, Vocal (Western Solo), Drawing, Essay writing and Poetry writing. There will be three prizes in each filed at taluka level and then at State level. The 1st prize winners of the State level competition will be awarded with the scholarships.
The Directorate of Art and Culture every year organizes “Cultural Talent Search Competition” for the school student in Goa. The main aim of this competition is to give platform to the upcoming talent in the field of Music, Dance, Fine Art, Literature etc. maximum schools from all the 12 talukas of the State participate in this competition.
In South Goa Drawing, Essay writing and Poetry writing competition will be held at Loyala High School, Margao on September 09, 2015.
Tabla, Harmonium, Guitar, Keyboard, Drums, Sitar, Violin, Vocal (India Classical), Vocal (Light Music), Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Monologue, Vocal (Western Solo) will be held at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, on September 29 and 30, 2015.
In North Goa Drawing, Essay writing and Poetry writing competition will be held at Mary Immaculate High School, Panaji, on September 11, 2015 and Tabla,Harmonium, Guitar, Keyboard, Drums, Sitar, Violin, Vocal (India Classical), Vocal (Light Music), Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Monologue, Vocal (Western Solo) will be held at Sanskruti Bhavan Patto, and Institute Menezes Braganza Panaji, on October 5 and 6, 2015.
The entries may be submitted on or before August 14, 2015 to the Directorate of Art and Culture, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto, Panaji in prescribed formats. The schools who have not received the circulars may personally collect the form the Directorate of Art and Culture office during working hours.
