Panaji: November 14, 2015 …. The Chief Minister, Shri Laxmikant Parsekar in the presence of Minister for Environment, Shri Rajendra Arlekar inaugurated the new office premises of Commercial Tax Officer, at Pernem at Pernem recently .
Shri Parsekar interacting with the media said that the Government has provided the office at Pernem to cater to the needs of the people of Pernem and surrounding areas. Earlier the office was operated from Mapusa and the people of Pernem had to travel all the way to Mapusa to address their issues with the department.
The Chief Minister, Shri Parsekar also handed over certificate of registration to the person who registered his name for the first time on the occasion.
Smt. Smita Kudtarkar, Chairperson of PMC; Shri Upendra Deshprabhu, Vice-Chairman PMC; Shri Michael D’Souza, Additional Secretary(Finance); Smt. Sarita Gadgil, Commissioner, Commercial Taxes; Shri Acchutrao Raut, ACTO and other Councilors were amongst those who were present for the function.
