03/09/2014 ….laghu Udyog Bharati, India’s apex body for MSME’s is organising the 3rd Edition of the India Manufacturing Show 2014 during September 11-13, 2014 at Bangalore International Center.
To boost and encourage the MSMEs in Goa in the manufacturing sector, Shri Manohar Parrikar, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Goa has allotted bare space of 200 sq. mts for Goa Pavillion for Goan Industries to participate at the IMS 2014. The participating industries from goa will be provided space in Goa Pavillion free of charge. And the cost of the transportation of their products for display will also be borne by the State Government.
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Goa Chapter and the Goa State Industries Association (GSIA) have been actively encouraging participation of the Goan industry to take benefit of the India Manufacturing Show (IMS) 2014 which could be an ideal Platform for interaction, networking, exchange of ideas, product display, distribution of Industry information, focused business presentation, live demonstrations, new development and innovation, in showcasing new technologies for all stakeholders like Manufacturers, suppliers Ancillaries, end users, Government and the industry under one roof. The IMS attracts erudite visitors from throughout the country and overseas.
The objective is to promote Goan engineering manufacturing Industries and to provide a platform for MSMEs to interact with Large Public Sector Industries / private Sector Industries / Industrialists / business leaders / customers from India and abroad for an overall development of Goa’s industrial sector.
The Focus Sectors at the IMS 2014 would be Aerospace & Defense Engineering, Auto & Components, Automation & Robotics, Electronics & Information Technology, Energy & Environment, Industry Engineering, Infrastructure, Metallurgy & Mining.
The India Manufacturing Show 2014 is the third in the series after the successful completion of previous editions in 2010 & 2012. IMS in the past two editions has had 411 Indian exhibitors comprising corporate enterprises & MSME’s with over 18,000 B2B visitors from 15 Countries gracing the show. Concurrent to the event, Vendor Development Program, Technical Seminars and a special session on “Aspiring Entrepreneurs” was organized for the benefit of the Industry.
Few of the key exhibitors who participated in the past editions were JSW Steel Ltd, TATA Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Kalyani Group, Toyota Motors, L&T- Komatsu, Ashok Leyland, Volvo, BEMI, Bharath Electronics Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bosch Limited, Godrej, TVS Motorcycles, Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India, ISRO, Ingersoll Rand, Kirloskar Toyoda Textile Machinery, Ministry of MSME, etc.
