Panaji:October 29, 2016 …… Chief Minister Shri Laxmikant Parsekar along with Deputy Chief Minister Shri Francis D’souza recently inaugurated the upgraded Sub Health Centre at Paliem Village in Pernem Taluka.
The Chief Minister also Distributed the Laddli Laxmi orders at Mandrem.He said till date 1200 Beneficiaries have availed the benefits.
Director of Health Department, Dr. Sanjeev Dalvi, Health Officer, Dr. Uttam Desai,Z.P, Shri Arun Bandkar, Sarpanch, Shri Dayanand Parab,Deputy Sarpanch , Smt. Supriya Gawandi, panch members, Shri. Sandeep Nhanji, Shri Babanin Arolkar and Smt. Ujvala Tilvi were present.
Chief Minister while addressing the gathering expressed his happiness over the upgraded Sub Health Centre and said that such centres are need of the hour since most of people in the state reside in villages.
People who are financially week were wholly depended on Government hospitals for their treatment but now doors of specialized private Hospitals are also opened for them through Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana insurance scheme.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Francis D’souza in his speech said that there are 219 Health Centres spread over the state. He also asked the people to avail health facilities available at the PHCS and various health schemes ment for them
Director of Health Department Dr. Sanjeev Dalvi welcomed the gathering, Health Officer Dr. Uttam Desai proposed the vote of thanks Shri Babani Arolkar compered the function.
