17/12/2015 … Chief minister laxmikant parsekar has said that there were certain political parties in the state who were only living on statements made to media and had no idea of how to bring up its party in the state

It may be noted that the state congress party on Monday had criticized the Union defence minister Manohar Parrikar for his speech on his 60th birthday celebrations where in mr parrikar had stated that fuel adulteration was still going on in the state and that he knew the people involved in it.
On this the party’s spokesperson, Sunil Kauthankar, has given Parrikar 24 hours to reveal the names of the people who are involved in the adulteration of fuel or else had threatened to file a complaint with the CBI within 48 hours if Parrikar fails to share the details with the CBI.
Speaking to media reporters over the issue chief minister laxmikant parsekar said that though he was not aware of any such statements made by mr parrikar he was of the opinion that petrol adulteration should not take place in his government tenure
Mr parsekar also stated that since congress had no other work they were only trying to take publicity by issuing statements of filing cases on others
