January 19, 2018… Union Minister for AYUSH (Independent Charge) Shri Shripad Naik inaugurated Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) wellness centre by Government of India Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at AIR and DD Staff Colony Bambolim recently.
CGHS wellness Centre, Goa will provide comprehensive health care to the beneficiaries such as Central Government employees and their dependent family members who are drawing salaries from Central Civil Estimates, Central government Pensioners and their dependent drawing their pension from Central Civil Estimates, Sitting and Ex-Members of Parliament, Ex-Governors and Lt. Governors, Freedom Fighters, Ex-Vice Presidents, sitting and Retired Judges of Supreme Court and Retired Judges of High Court and Railway Board Employees.
Minister for Health Shri Vishwajit Rane, St.Andre MLA Shri Francisco Silveira,Shri Swapnil Naik Secretary to Minister for AYUSH, Shri K.K Singh, OSD to Minister for AYUSH, Professor Ram Rao Wagh and Sarpanch Smt. Maria were present on the occasion.
Addressing the function Shri Naik said that (CGHS) wellness centre has been operating all over the country with an intention to provide better medical facilities to employees of the central Government. He said Goa has become the 37th member city of the (CGHS) wellness centre and urged beneficiaries to avail the benefit.
While speaking on the occasion Shri Rane expressed his happiness over the opening of wellness centre in Goa. He said that it is the beginning of a new initiative and we will take it forward. He also assured his support and cooperation in this regard.
Director of (CGHS) Delhi Shri D C Joshi welcomed the gathering while Dr Anil Dhoke Assistant Director of (CGHS) Mumbai proposed vote of thanks. The function was compered by Dr Dayanand Rao, Medical Officer Goa Medical College Bambolim.
