Panaji ..August 12, 2015 …. The Government has identified alternate proposed sites for relocation of Offshore Casino’s from River Mandovi. These sites includes at the mouth of the River Mandovi, at the Aguada Bay, two locations in River Zuari East of the bridge and West of the Bridge and in River Chapora.
Suggestions are invited from public and stakeholders on above said proposed sites suggested by the Government. The suggestions may be forwarded to the Additional Secretary, Home, Home Department,Secretariat, Porvorim before expiry of the period of 15 days.
The proposed sites have been identified as per cabinet decision of the Government dated 14/8/2013, wherein all the offshore casino’s are required to be shifted out of River Mandovi.
