ADIP WORKSHOPS ORGANIZED BY SOCIAL WELFARE

Panaji, November 28, 2017…. Directorate of Social Welfare in coordination with ALIMCO, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh has organised an assessment camp under the scheme ‘Assistance to Disabled Persons for Purchase/fitting of Aids and Appliances (ADIP)’ to provide aids and appliance for persons with disabilities.

The schedule of assessment camp is : on November 28, 2017 at Sanjay Centre for Special Education Research and Training, Alto, Porvorim, on November 29 at Keshav Seva Sadhana, School for Special Education, Valpoi, on November 30 at Atmavishwas Society, School for Special Children, Tuem, on December 1, 2017 at Keshav Seva Sadhana School for Special Education, Bicholim, and on December 5, at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. The assessment camp will start at 5.00 p.m.

The ADIP scheme aims to address visual impairment, hearing impairment, mental retardation and locomotor disability and proposes to provide Tricycle, Wheel Chair, Crusteches, Braille kit, Braille Cane, Tricycle, Smart Phone for Blind, Prostheses, Daisy Player for Blind, Warling Stick, Hearing Aid, MSIID Kit for Mentally Challenged Child |(from 6 yrs upto 15 yrs), Cerebral Palsy Chair (C.P. Children), ADL kits for Leprosy Patients, Lallipers and Rollator. Is Dudhsagar Trek Open Now

Any disabled person having disability of more than 40% and income of Rs. 1.80 lakhs per year is eligible. The person should bring Aadhar Card or should have applied for the Aadhar Card, income certificate and disability certificate at the time of assessment camp.
