Panaji, December 20, 2018 ..Every village in Saligao will get independent children park disclosed Minister for Housing Shri Jayesh Salgaonkar after laying the foundation stone for development of Open Space and repairs of road in ward no 7 at Reis Magos recently.
Shri Salgaonkar said in order to accelerate the pace of development in villages coming within the jurisdiction of Saligao priority accorded are not for the cosmetic changes but for requirement of the people .He informed that total cost of the work will be approximately Rs.11.75 lakhs. Shri Salgaonkar also announced that internal roads in Ward No 5 will be provided with hotmix carpet and the work of which will be taken up soon.
Smt Siya Nagvekar, Deputy Sarpanch, Reis Magos while expressing her happiness said that this outer space being the first garden in Reis Magos will be useful for the children’s to play and grandparents can spare some quality time. Smt. Siya also appealed the villagers to support in the development of the village.
Also present on the occasion were Shri Virendra Shirodkar, Sarpanch Reis Magos and other panch members.
