Panaji: November 1, 2018 … Minister for Revenue and IT Shri Rohan Khaunte inaugurated Visteon Technical and Service Centre Pvt. Ltd.” At Software Technology Park of India at Panjim today.
The centre is housed on the second floor of Udyog Bhavan building.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Khaunte expressed his happiness and said that this is the fourth technical centre of Visteon an American automotive electronics supplier in the country .Goa is the state which have been looking at IT very seriously.
It is the proud moment for all of us IT sectors, companies which are looking at expansion or a trying to put hub shops in Goa he added. Shri Khaunte further said, as we are very crucially looking at Hi tech industry, Visteon is known in this particular sector. This will be big boost for all of us in IT Sectors giving high skill people, a talent pool which will suffice requirement of the company. Shri Khaunte further said that with Visteon coming in Goa, it will be a anchor to pull and attract more company .Vision of Government to create revenue directly or indirectly and have employment in right scenario will be achieved with such kind of set up .
Speaking on the occasion Shri Matthew Cole, Senior Vice President of Product Development, said that the reason to set up centre in Goa is because there are lot of talent.Visteon is growing company and we need access to capability and capacity and Goa provides it.
