Panaji, October 18, 2017 … United Nations Day will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. On this day the United Nations Flag is required to be flown alongwith the National Flag in the State Capital and the District Headquarters on all building where the National Flag is flown regularly.
However, the United Nations Flag will not be flown on Raj Bhavan building/Raj Niwas and the buildings housing Legislative Councils, Legislative Assembly and High Court. –
All Government Departments/Offices/Public Sector Undertaking at Panaji and District Headquarters which are expected to fly the National Flag regularly are therefore directed to fly the United Nations Flag, alongwith the National Flag on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
