Panaji: October 5, 2017 … Governor Dr. (Smt) Mridula Sinha inaugurated Mahila Bhajan Competition organised by Matrubhoomi Seva Pratishthan, Goa on the occasion of birthday of Union Minister for AYUSH,( Independent Charge), Shri Shripad Naik at Sao Pedro, Old Goa today.
Dr Ramkripal Sinha Spouse of the Governor,Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly, Dr. Pramod Sawant, PWD Minister, Shri Sudin alias Ramkrishna Dhavalikar, M P, South Shri Narendra Savoikar, MP Rajya sabha , Shri Vinay Tendulkar, Smt Vijaya Shripad Naik Spuse of Shri Naik and others were present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion Governor complimented Shri Shripad Naik for his yeomen services towards society. She said during his political career he has served the cause of society. He is with benevolent heart worked for the betterment of the society.
She also said that persons like Shripad Naik who does good for society lives for many years in the memories of people and urged the people to emulate this leader.
Shri Naik welcomed the gathering while Smt Milan Vaingankar compared the programme followed by Vice President of Matrubhoomi Seva Pratishthan, Shri Nagesh Fadte proposed vote of thanks
